ASI Mohan Reddy gets bail after 134 days

Karimnagar: The Karimnagar Court on Monday approved bail for Mohan Reddy, who is accused in cases related to illegal money lending and extortion. Mohan Reddy was an Assistant Police Inspector in Karimnagar and had 41 cases against him. He spent 134 days in police custody.
Mohan Reddy was arrested by the CID after allegations of illegal money lending and extortion surfaced against him. Preliminary investigation revealed that he had amassed crores of rupees through these illegal activities. Various police officials who were tied to his activities were also arrested.
