'Ashamed to say CBN is chief minister of AP' - Sakshi Post

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed solidarity with the striking electricity contract workers in Vijayawada on Tuesday.

More than 1000 employees went on strike from Monday midnight demanding that the Government cancel the third party contract system and immediately address their long pending grievances.
Addressing the workers at the Gymkhana grounds in Vijayawada, the YSRCP chief said Chandrababu Naidu had reneged on his poll promise to regularise the services of contract employees in the State.
YS Jagan further said he felt ashamed to call Chandrababu as a CM who could not stick to his assurances. He said the TDP government was a bundle of lies.
"If there is anyone who is clinging to power though he had failed to keep his word on the assurances given to farmers, DWCRA women, pensioners and contract employees, it is Chandrababu," he said.
YS Jagan also decried the Government's attitude towards the contract employees. He said the Government's pro-corporate policies were against the interests of the workers. He promised to raise the issues of the contract workers during the Assembly session.
