Arunachalam takes charges as CBI JD

S. Arunachalam was on Saturday made the additional in-charge of Joint Director of Central Bureau of Investigation of the AP zone. He would hold the post until a new man is appointed.

CBI Joint Director V V Lakshminarayana, who was transferred has been repatriated to his home cadre in Maharashtra.

Arunachalam who is the in-charge Joint Director of CBI in Chennai is a 1993 batch officer.

Although the new JD was to take charge on June 17, he was asked to begin work today itself due to a a pile up of pending files.
