Arrested CI emotionally blackmails CID, runs away

A Circle Inspector, Srinivas Reddy used his skills to hoodwink the CID and to run away from their grip, when the latter came to arrest him in connection with a cheating case at Sriram Sagar Project, Balkonda Mandalin Nizambad District.

According to reports, CI Srinivas was accused in a cheating case, and a case was registered against him at Tupran, Medak district in 2011. Finally, this year the law caught up with the CI.  CID official Venkateshwarulu, along with other officials visited the CI office with arrest warrant.

Interestingly, instead of following them quietly, Srinivas requested the CID officials to allow him to go meet his family one last time before he is sent to jail. The CID relented, and Srinivas quickly ran away from their clutches. 

Case History:

Srininivas was working as CI in Tupran in 2011 when he met Ungarala Srinu alias Kotta Srinivas Gupta, a gold merchant. Gupta used his friendship with the CI, and promised to sell gold to people at a cheaper rate. He then cheated the public off Rs 3 crores, and ran away.

When a case was regiesterd, the CI's name cropped up, and he was promptly suspended. After sometimes, Srinivas joined duty again and was appointed the Armul CI, October 2013.
