‘Arrest Chandrababu Naidu For The Same Reason’

Hyderabad: If AIADMK's Dinakaran can be arrested on charges of trying to bribe Election Commission officials then chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu can also be arrested on similar charges, YSRCP spokesman Botsa Satyanarayana said.

Addressing the media here on Thursday, he said Chandrababu Naidu was caught red-handed in the infamous cash-for-vote scam however, no action was taken against him so far. "Now the TDP-led government is unveiling another scam. The Bhavanpadu port contracts are being given to TDP loyalists instead of calling for global tenders. Secondly, 2.3 per cent of the port's income is contracted to go directly to the state government," Satyanarayana pointed out.

It is the responsibility of the state government to make public the terms and conditions of the Bhavanpadu port contracts, he said and added that failing to do so will mean that the project is headed the same way as the Polavaram project.
