Arrangements for Godavari Pushkaras with Rs.500 crores

“Arrangements will be made for Godavari Pushkaras with an amount of Rs.500 crores. Necessary proposals were already sent to central government,” said Andhra Pradesh Minister for Endowments P.Manikyala Rao.

Speaking to reporters at Narasapur on Sunday, he said that about 28,000 acres of endowments land is under illegal occupation at present. “All steps were already taken to get back the land,” said the minister.

He inspected the Godavari Pushkaras ghat at Narasapur on Sunday.

He announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would inaugurate the pushkaras to be held next year.
