AR Rahman pays obeisance at Pedda Dargah

Indian composer and Oscar award winner AR Rahman, along with his family paid a visit to Kadapa in YSR district. The legendary musician was there to participate in the annual Urs festival at the Pedda Dargah on Tuesday night.
Thousands of people from neighboring states—Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra participated in the festival.
The famous Gandham (sandawood) festival of Hajrat Syed Shah Ameenulla Mohmadul Hussaini Chishtivul Khadri is held every year in YSR Kadapa. Rahman visits Pedda Dargah every year to offer prayers.
