Armed youth point gun at Nakrekal

In an incident that brought back the gory memories of terrorist shootout in Nalgonda district, two armed youth threatened locals and then vanished as soon as they came on a mobike in Nakrekal town on Tuesday.

The incident created quite a sensation in the town.

According to the locals, the armed duo came on a motor cycle. Constables Keshava Reddy and Satish, who suspected the bike-borne persons to be chain-snatchers, tried to nab them. The suspects loaded their guns and threatened the constables before fleeing away. On getting the information police personnel and ID party officials rushed to the spot and are collecting information. On investigation, it was found that the vehicle had a fake number plate. The police are probing if the duo is linked to any terrorist group.
