Following Protests Against ‘Arjun Reddy’, Director Wants To Leave India
Hyderabad: At a time when the movie 'Arjun Reddy' is receiving adulation from audience, the movie director Sandeep Reddy made sensational comments saying that he will shift to Bollywood.
In the wake of protests from women organisations and political parties that the movie should be banned from screening in theatres across the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana due to the objectionable scenes and lip-locks in the movie, director Sandeep Reddy made the above statements.
He said that he would leave Hyderabad city and shift his base to Mumbai to pursue his passion in filmmaking in Bhojpuri and Kannada languages. If he sees opposition to his movies even in Bollywood, Sandeep said that he would leave India and switch to Hollywood for a better career.
The movie 'Arjun Reddy' so far broke records at the box office in terms collections as it is still running to packed houses in India and elsewhere. The movie received praise from Tollywood biggies for its script, story-telling and direction of photography.
