Arjun Reddy Actor To Play ANR in Mahanati

There has been a lot of buzz about veteran actress Savitri's biopic, Mahanati. We have been constantly hearing about the numerous actors from all the south Indian languages likely to play roles in the film. The latest in the buzz is that Vijay Devarakonda has been taken on board for the film.

Mahanati is featuring Keerthy Suresh as Savitri while Dulquer Salman will be seen as Gemini Ganesan. Others featuring in the film are Samantha as Jamuna, Nani as Senior NTR and Prakash Raj as Chakrapani. There was a lot of attention as to who will reprise the role of Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

If sources are to be believed Arjun Reddy actor Vijay Devarakonda is all set to play a Akkineni Nageswara Rao aka ANR role in Mahanati. It would a rare opportunity for the young actor to play ANR role. It seems he has given a nod for acting in the film.

Recently, the crew of Mahanati have completed all the pre-production formalities and are expected go on to floors very shortly. The official confirmation about his role is yet to be made by Vijay Devarakonda and the filmmakers. The film is being simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
