AR Constable Shoots Himself With Service Gun, Dies

Karimnagar: An Armed Reserve (AR) constable committed suicide due to depression at the district police head quarters on Saturday.

Chandraiah, a native of Bahupeta near Karimnagar is staying at Ram Nagar along with his wife and two kids. "He was suffering from depression from the last five years and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad," CP Kamalasan Reddy said. Chandraiah committed suicide by shooting himself with service gun after he reported to duty on Saturday.
