Aqua farmers duped to the tune of Rs 26 crore

A marine company downed its shutters duping the aquaculture farmers to the tune of Rs 26 crore.

A man established Haripriya Marine at Bhimavaram in West Godavari district and collected prawns and fish from farmers in six districts. The farmers launched dharna in front of his house demanding payment of their arrears. They caught hold of him and handed him over to the police. Police registered a case against him on the complaint from the scores of  farmers.
