Applications pour in for IIT Ramaiah Admission test

Hyderabad: A deluge of applications has been coming in to famous Ramaiah IIT Study Circle, an IIT JEE Coaching centre in Hyderabad for the year 2016.

Students and parents were standing in serpentine queues for applications for the admission test to be conducted on April 15. The applications costing Rs.200 were sold from 08:00am to 06:00pm on Friday at Ramaiah’s house in Padma Colony in Ramnagar.

Applications should be submitted before April 10 and the entrance test will be conducted on April 15, Ramaiah said. So far, 6,000 applications were sold for an intake of 125 seats in all of which 25 seats are reserved for rural students and another 25 seats are for OBCs, he said.

Ramaiah IIT Study Circle is popular for a successful coaching for the admission in the country's prestigious IITs throughout the country.
