AP woman shot dead in US
A 60-year-old woman from a remote village in Prakasam district was shot dead by some miscreants in California city of the United States of America (USA) this morning. The woman, identified as Satyavatamma (60) hailing from the Kudumulakuntla village in Hanumanthunipadu mandal in Prakasam district was living with her kin in California city.
This morning, when she found some miscreants were kidnapping a nine-month-old baby girl, Satyavatamma firmly resisted them. The abductors shot her dead and left the scene. The kidnappers are still holding the baby as hostage, according to information reaching Hyderabad today. Details are awaited.
