AP Tribal  Students To Conquer Mount Everest

Three Manyam tribal students from Seethampet Gurukul Residential College in Srikakulam district are all set to conquer Mount Everest along with 16 other students from the state's Gurukul colleges. Kondagorre Renuka from girls residential college, S. Raj Kumar and Ramanamurthy from boys college belong to Manyam region.

The students have already undergone one month mountaineering training at Ladakh and will start the expedition in March after the completion of their intermediate exams.

In December, a 22-member group of tribal students had conquered the Mount Renok in West Bengal. They have been filtered to 16-member group and were sent to Chintoora in East Godavari for 23 days training. Later, the students were sent to Ladakh for an intensive training. They were trained at Markavelli near Ladakh from January 25 to February 1.
