AP to reform education sector
Rajahmundry: Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Y. Rama Krishnudu on Thursday said that new reforms will be introduced to modernise education sector at various levels in the state.
"Government is taking all steps to bring in new reforms in education sector from primary level to university level, to provide modern education which will help the youth in future," the minister said.
Rama Krishudu said Group I and II services will be shortly filled by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC). He said the government has implemented its electoral promises such as waiver of loans to farmers, payment of pensions and other social welfare measures for the benefit of people despite severe financial crisis.
Huge allocation has been made in budget for agriculture sector and government has taken several measures for the benefit of farm sector in the state, the minister added.
