AP to construct Rest House at Sabarimala

The Endowment Department of Andhra Pradesh government is planning to construct a rest house complex at Sabarimala in Kerala for the convenience of devotees from the state, Minister for Endowments C Ramachandraih said in Vijayawada today.
The minister said that the Kerala Government has allocated five acres of land near Sabarimal temple to construct the complex for the benefit of devotees from the state who visit Sabarimala every year.
He also said that the largest number of devotees going to Sabarimala are from Andhra Pradesh.
Such rest houses will be also be taken up at Shirdi and Varanasi in future and the state is talking to Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh Government for allocation of land there, he stated.
