AP student killed in Noida

A 23-year-old student belonging to Andhra Pradesh was brutally killed in Noida on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Sandesh Bhaskar (23), a student of Marine science in Amity University.

According to the police, Bhaskar was staying in a rented accommodation along with two other students, Nadeem and Madhur. On Saturday evening, a tourism student of the same university, Amaan, rang the doorbell when Bhaskar was alone in the room. As soon as Bhaskar opened the door, Amaan pounced on him and a fight ensued. As the fight intensified, Amaan pulled out a pistol and shot Bhaskar in the head resulting in his instant death.

Police say that the suspect Amaan is known to Bhaskar. Residents of the society where the flat is located have expressed concern on the incident and questioned the brazen entry of armed assislants entering the well-guarded area. A sense of panic has spread among the residents and in the university area.

 The body has been sent for post-mortem and his parents in Andhra Pradesh have been informed.
