AP's maiden assembly session underway

The maiden session of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly began with oath-taking ceremony of  Assembly members including Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. 

He took oath in Telugu in the name of God and was followed by main opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. After entering the Assembly hall, Chandrababu shook hands with YS Jagan.

Earlier in the day, Chandrababu  took charge at the Secretariat following the felicitation by AP Secretariat government employees and began work from his camp office at Lake View guest house. Later, he went to Raj Bhavan to attend the swearing-in ceremony of TDP MLA P. Narayana Swamy Naidu as protem speaker of Andhra Pradesh state Assembly.
