AP mourns in memory of YSR - Sakshi Post

Although it's a weekend very few people are seen on the roads or in theaters. Most of them are at home, glued to their television sets, watching his inspiring speeches and videos and remembering the many-sided man that their beloved leader was.

In his cheerful face they see compassion and kindness, anger at injustice and an urge to serve his people tirelessly.

It was  exactly three years ago to this day that the most popular leader ever in the history of AP, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy passed away.

The YSR Congress party Honorary President, Mrs. Vijayamma, daughter Sharmila,, daughter-in-law Bharati,  son-in-law Brother Anil Kumar, brother Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy and other family members paid their homage to the departed leader and offered special prayers by his graveside in Idupulapaya in Kadapa district.

Millions of people from different parts of the state also reached Idupulapaya to pay homage to the great leader who continues to be the heart-throb of the poorest and the most under-privileged.

Thousands of his supporters held meetings in many places across the state in his memory and conducted programmes of blood donation and feeding the poor. MLAs and MLCs also organized and participated in many of these programmes.
