AP legislative council session from June 23
The first session of the Andhra Pradesh legislative council will start from June 23.
This was decided at the Business Advisory Committee meeting that took place on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Legislative Affairs Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said, “We have discussed three bills in the meeting, which includes hiking the retirement age of state government employees.”
Government Chief Whip Kalva Srinivasulu said that the other two motions that would be introduced in the council pertain to Polavaram Ordinance and congratulating two students who climbed Mount Everest recently.
In this session, the council will also condole the death of the engineering students who drowned in Beas river in Himachal Pradesh.
