'AP is in troubles after bifurcation'
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu commented that the state is in troubles after its bifurcation.
“We have explained the existing situations in the state to the representatives of finance commission and requested them to grant us enough funds,” said the chief minister.
Chandrababu said that Andhra Pradesh could not be compared with other states. “We requested the commission for special status for Andhra Pradesh and special funds for Rayalaseema and North Andhra regions,” said the chief minister.
He said that they had requested an amount of Rs. 2 lakh crores for the construction of the new capital.
“We gave two representations to the finance commission on various issues,” said Chandra Babu.
