Amaravati: After former Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel on Wednesday nominated badminton superstar Kidambi Srikanth for the prestigious Padma Shri award, the government of his home state, Andhra Pradesh, announced a reward of Rs 2 crore for the shuttler. After a state cabinet meeting, Andhra Pradesh information minister K Srinivasulu informed reporters about the reward.
