AP gets 211 IAS, 144 IPS officers

The union government has issued a notification allocating 211 IAS officers, 144 IPS officers and 82 IFS officers to Andhra Pradesh.

Similarly, Telangana state was allotted 163 IAS officers, 112 IPS officers and 65 IFS officers.

The allocations were made based on the rules framed by former central vigilance commissioner Pratyush Sinha.

Now, Andhra Pradesh will have one Chief Secretary, two Additional Chief Secretaries, 12 Principal Secretaries, 11 Secretaries, 23 Secretary cum Commissioners, one Secretary to CCLA, 13 Collectors, 13 Joint Collectors, eight ITDA Pos/ DRDA PDs/ZP CEOs, two Joint/Deputy Commissioners in Commercial Taxes, 22 Directors, Chief Rationing Officer and six Additional Secretaries.

Similarly, Andhra Pradesh was allotted 144 IPS officers. Of them, there are one DGP (HOPF), one more DGP rank officer, seven Addl DGPs, 17 IGs, 13 DIGs and 40 SPs.

Andhra Pradesh state got 82 IFS officers. Of them, there are one PCCF (departmental head), one more PCCF, five Addl PCCF, six Chief Conservators, 13 Conservators and 25 Deputy Conservators.
