Couple killed after bike collides with auto

A married couple were killed when their motorbike collided head-on with an autorickshaw near Rudravaram under Reddygudem mandal of Krishna district on Wednesday. The deceased belonged to Mailavaram mandal. Two others were also injured in the mishap.

The mishap took place when the duo was returning from a relative's place. The bike collided head-on with an autorickshaw carrying four passengers and was heading towards Reddygudem. Both the vehicles were badly damaged in the mishap.

 The police registered a case and investigating.

Lovers jump before train, end lives

Two youngsters on Wednesday allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a running train near Kannala railway gate at Bellampalli village in Adilabad district, reports said.

The Police found their bodies on the track and later sent them for post-mortem examination. The reason behind their extreme step is yet to be identified.
