AP capital farmers meet YS Jagan

Farmers belong to the proposed AP capital region met Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Guntur on Thursday.

Farmers in several villages identified for land pooling for the construction of the new capital are up in arms against the policies of Chandrababu.
They explained their problems to YS Jagan and brought to his notice the gact that the government is planning to take away their land forcefully. The farmers from Penumana and Vundavalli villages said that thousands of families will loose their livelihood if the government takes their land away.
The YSRCP chief assured the farmers that he would fight tooth and nail in the ensuing Assembly session and would stand by them.
