AP Bandh a Grand Success: YSRCP

Hyderabad: YSRCP MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy thanked people of AP for making the bandh a grand success. YSRCP called for a state-wide bandh in protest against the denial of financial status to AP.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Sridhar Reddy said: “Chandrababu Naidu is expert in changing voice as per the situation. Both the parties BJP and TDP are against special category status for AP.”
Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has invited Pawan Kalyan to become part of the agitation for special status. Reddy said: “We get investments and jobs if special status is awarded to AP. YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been fighting for special status to AP. We’ll continue our fight until we get it.”
Reddy further questioned Chandrababu Naidu why he put 5.5 crore people at stake by welcoming the financial package. “AP Assembly passed resolution on special status twice. But fearing the involvement in cash for vote scam, Chandrababu Naidu compromised with BJP.”

YSRCP senior leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy criticized the TDP government for misutlizing the Police force. Chandrababu Naidu is using Police department for his own interests, but not for maintaining law and order in the State, he said.
Bhumana and YSRCP cadere participated in the bandh in Tirupati. Police arrested Bhumana and partymen. Demanding the release of Bhumana, YSRCP staged a dharna in front of the local police station.
Later speaking to the media, Bhumana said: “Chandrababu Naidu ruling is like a dictator. Using Police force, Chandrababu can’t control people’s agitation. Special status is a lifeline of AP, but Chandrababu Naidu killed the aspirations of people.”
