AP Assembly pays homage to MLA Venkata Ramana

Hyderabad:  The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Thursday payed homage to sitting legislator from Tirupati M Venkata Ramana, who died of heart attack on December 15.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Leader of the oppostion and YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and other legislators present in Assembly paid tributes to the departed leader.  
 YS Jagan expressed grief over the death and assured to stand by the late MLA's  family. Earlier on the day,  the Business Advisory Committee met on Thursday and decided  to meet again on Saturday.

Meanwhile,  The debt redemption scheme being implemented for farmers is expected to dominate the proceedings as government is prepared to make a suo motu statement, while the opposition YSR Congress is seeking to nail the Chandrababu Naidu-led government by raising the anomalies in it. The government is also getting ready to make statements on four other issues of public importance during the session that is expected to conclude on December 24.
