AP Assembly Adjourned on Opening Day without Business
- 2 YSRCP MLAs Suspended from Assembly
Hyderabad: After much ruckus in the House over call money sex racket, the AP Assembly was adjourned for Friday without taking up any serious business on the opening day of the winter session on Thursday.
Earlier, the Opposition YSRCP relentlessly insisted on taking up discussion on the call money sex racket and did not allow any business as its adjournment motion was rejected by the Speaker Kodela Shivaprasad. The House was adjourned twice before closing it for the day.
When the House met after two adjournments, Speaker suspended YSRCP MLAs Shivaprasad Reddy and Ramalingeshwar Rao for two days for obstructing the camera view.
Responding to the Opposition demand for a discussion, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said the government will reveal all details pertaining to the call money racket and assured that all those involved in scam will be brought to book.
