Anushka’s Singam Co-Star An Obstacle For Bhaagamathie Release?

Suriya and Anushka are among the most romantic on-screen couples ever since the Singham-3 franchise. Kollywood circles have even dubbed them as best Jodi.

Top Production Company UV Creations is producing Anushka's latest flick Bhaagmathie and they have even bagged the Telugu rights of Suriya's Gang.

Earlier, the makers of the movie had planned to release Bhaagmathie on January 10. But now we hear that they have deferred the release date to accommodate Suriya's film Gang. Looks like filmmakers have higher expectation from the Suriya film than Anushka's Bhaagamathie. Suriya is creating problems for Anushka's Bhaagmathie.

What one fails to understand is that the audience for Anushka in Telugu states is bigger than for Suriya given that the former is a household name in Telugu cinema after her mind-blowing performance in movies like Arundhati, Ruhdramadevi where she carried the entire movie on her shoulders.

But like they say, in cinema, producers call the shots. Fair enough considering that they have a lot at stake!

Anushka's Bhaagmathi will now release on January 26 over the Republic Day weekend. The movie will be in the safe zone as it won't compete with other big movies Pawan Kalyan's Pawan Kalyan and Balakrisha's Jai Simha.
