Anonymous call alerts cops of bomb in Assembly

An anonymous phone call received by the Saifabad police on Friday noon alerted them that a bomb was planted in the AP Assembly building.

The police swung in to action immediately and cordoned off the area surrounding the State Assembly.

The police have deployed the dog and bomb squads in the assembly premises and have launched a search operation.
