Anil Kumar Yadav Denies TDP’s Allegations On Reverse Tendering - Sakshi Post

AMARAVATI: YSR Congress party leader and minister for water resources Anil Kumar Yadav  responded over TDP's allegations on the state government over reverse tendering and said that the Andhra Pradesh state government  had saved the public exchequer Rs 600 crores by implementing reverse tendering on various projects.

Kumar further said that Chandrababu Naidu led Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has allotted the  tenders  to the TDP favorable persons and followed excess tendering process.

YSRCP leader clarifies the opposition that the total cost of the Polavaram project is Rs.55 thousand crore out of which the state government has spent only Rs 17,000 crore so far for the project works.

Kumar criticised Chandrababu Naidu for spreading false propaganda that 75 per cent of the Polavaram works were completed during TDP regime but actually completed only 35 percent works.

YSRCP Minister Anil said that that the TDP government had started working on Polavaram during the last two years of their term.

Minister for water resources assured that  Polavaram spillway would be completed by July 2020  and thousands of homes in the three districts will be evacuated by the next rainy season.
