Srinath Devireddy Appointed Chairman Of Andhra Pradesh Press Academy
AMARAVATI: Srinath Devireddy has been appointed as the chairman of Andhra Pradesh Press Academy. The government issued orders to this effect on Friday. He had been in the field of journalism for many years. He belongs to Kovaramguttapalli village of Simhadripuram Mandal in YSR Kadapa district. He was well known for his column named ‘Seven Roads Junction’ which includes the political, financial and social status of the Rayalaseema area. He also worked for the BBC radio in 1990. He also worked as the president of the Andhra Pradesh Union for Working Journalists, Kadapa for 24 years. He also worked as APUWJ state secretary. He is very close to Former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
Srinath thanked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for appointing him as Chairman of Press Academy.
