Constable Attempts Suicide Due To Boss’ Harassment

ANANTAPUR: Prakash, a police constable in Anantapur attempted suicide by dousing himself in petrol on Friday, to later set himself on fire. Police present there foiled his bid to attempt suicide.

It is said that the constable has been harassed by a superior officer and got no relief despite complaining to higher officials.

Upon receiving the information, the district collector Satyanarayana assured the police constable that he would speak to the superintendent of Police and justice would be served.
