Bus Travelling To Amalapuram Rams Into Canal, Several Injured

AMALAPURAM: A private travel bus rammed into a canal at K. Pedapudi Village in East Godavari District as the driver lost control on Monday, October 28 and had a close escape. There are no fatalities, but several passengers were injured.

Kaveri travels bus was traveling from Hyderabad to Amalapuram and crashed into the canal after the driver lost control.

Police said that prima facie it appears that the driver was sleepy and that could have been the reason.

Police added that soon after the incident, the staff attempted to cover the number plate by rubbing mud on it.
