YS Jagan To Distribute Cheques On November 21 In East Godavari

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to visit East Godavari on November 21. During his visit AP CM will distribute compensation cheques to the fisherman and will also scheduled to inaugurate Pasuvullanka- Saladivaripalem bridge.

During the recent Cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has approved the distribution of compensation from GSPC (Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation) to the affected families of fishermen and who were earlier neglected by former CM Chandrababu Naidu led Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

As per the decision of AP CM Rs. 80 crore as compensation has been released to 17,700 affected fishermen of Mummidivaram and Ramachandrapuram constituencies. Along with YSRCP Mummidivaram MLA Ponnada Satishkumar, YS Jagan will distribute the compensation to the fisherman in the form of cheques during his visit on November 21.

Chief Minister YS Jagan will also inaugurate Pashuvulanka- Saladivaripalem bridge in the same constituency. The foundation for the same bridge was laid by former CM Rajasekhara Reddy and works were taken up with funds of Rs. 35 crores.

Collector D. Muralidhar Reddy and MLA Ponnada Sathishkumar are making all the necessary arrangements for YS Jagan's visit and completed the construction of the bridge on Friday, October 25. The officials and MLA have decided to make arrangements for the distribution of fishermen cheques near Muramamalla Sarabhayya tan.
