Amit Shah Praises YS Jagan Over Reverse Tendering Initiative
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday, October 22, and spoke to Amit Shah over RS. 838 crore of funds that were saved due to the implementation of reverse tendering in the Polavaram project works. Amit Shah congratulated YS Jagan on this great initiative of AP Government.
During the 40-minute meeting, YS Jagan discussed several key issues like AP special status, bifurcation given to Andhra Pradesh, funds to Polavaram project, new capital city construction with Amit Shah.
YS Jagan attended the meeting along with YS Jagan Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy, Lok Sabha leader MP Mithun Reddy, MPs Balasouri, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Raghuramakrishnam Raju, and Margani Bharat.
AP CM is making all the necessary efforts to maintain healthy relations with the Center to cope up with the financial crisis in AP State.
YS Jagan is also making all the moves to recover the losses as Andhra Pradesh's debt burden is estimated to reach Rs 2,58,928 crore by the end of 2019 and from 2018-19 it was estimated to be Rs 11,654.91 crore, due to meaningless expenditure of former CM Chandrababu Naidu.
