AP CM YS Jagan To Hold Review Meeting On Health Care - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will conduct a review meeting with officials Health and medical departments,at the Secretariat on Friday .

Various aspects to be discussed in the review meeting include:

-To bring health bills above Rs 1000 under the ArogyaSri scheme.

-Status of developmental works of new medical colleges

-Infrastructure and other facilities like hostels etc., to be developed.

-Utilization of National Health Mission funds.

-In addition to these, a review about the current state of hospitals would also be reviewed. Official sources say that the idea of taking Before-After photographs of the current hospital situation would be discussed. As part of this, photos would be compared with photos taken again after two years to gauge the development done to improve the hospitals in the State.

The Chief Minister will also discuss the status of the poll promises made during the Praja Sankalpa Yatra.

It may be recollected that the State government has announced a pension of Rs10,000 for dialysis patients and a wage hike from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 10,000 for Asha workers have been implemented.

Meanwhile, officials have already prepared reports for the Chief Minister's review. For this purpose the Chief Secretary of the Medical Department, Jawahar Reddy and Secretary to the Chief Minister's Office Dr. PV Ramesh have conducted review meetings with the superintendents, principals and officials of various departments of medical education, separately.
