Junior Advocates Thank YS Jagan For Rs 5000 Stipend

Kurnool: Junior lawyers of the Kurnool advocates association expressed their gratitude to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy upholding his poll promise to pay a stipend of Rs 5000 per month to junior lawyers.

The Chief Minister in a meeting held on Wednesday has decided to implement this scheme from the 2nd of next November and launch the stipend scheme for junior lawyers on December 3 on World Advocate Day.

He approved for all the rules and regulations of the scheme. where a sum of RS 5,000 per month will be given to the junior lawyers with less than three years practice at the Bar. The stipend is given to them until they become stable in their practice until three years.

The government issued a G.O to this effect on October 14 with all the guidelines and by the 2nd of Novembers, the money will be credited in the allotted bank accounts for all the eligible junior lawyers.
