Heavy Rainfall In AP Next 3 Days - Sakshi Post

Andhra Pradesh: The Visakhapatnam meteorological department officials have predicted heavy rains for all Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh for the next three days due to Depression developed in West-Central Bay of Bengal. Heavy rains may be seen in several parts of the coastal and Rayalaseema areas of AP State.

Visakhapatnam IMD has instructed weathermen to stay alert as heavy rain and thunderstorms are likely to hit several parts of AP. Moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected over East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Nellore, Prakasam districts, Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool, and Anantapur districts of Rayalaseema on September 18.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms have been forecast over East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Nellore, and Prakasam districts of AP on the 20 and 21st of September. Fishermen in South Coast Districts have been warned to stay away from fishing activities. Meanwhile, rainfall of 18 cm in Allagadda, 14 in Ongole, 13 in Rudravaram, 12 in Dornipadu, 12 in Bathalapalli, 10 in Singanamala, 9 in Simhadri Puram, 6 centimeters in Nandyala and Koilkuntla were recorded.
