Coimbatore Police Questions 3 Youths For Being Part Of Pakistan Operated WhatsApp Group
Coimbatore: Coimbatore city police questioned three youths who worked here as goldsmiths over suspicion that they were part of a WhatsApp terror group called "Pakistan Mujahideen" that was operated from Pakistan.
However, the three were let off after police did not find any related chats or documents against them that indicated the same. However, there mobile phones have been seized for further investigation.
Police had acted on a tip-off that three Muslim youths allegedly from Bangladesh were working as smiths in Coimbatore. Police had said that the active members in Whatsapp terror group operated from Pakistan and admin of the group hailed from Pakistan, and they used to chat about guns and explosives in the group "Mujahideen".
Further investigation underway.
