Criminal Case Booked Against TDP Leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari

SI Anuradha  - Sakshi Post

Guntur: A criminal case has been registered against senior TDP leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari and another activist named Satyavani, for allegedly abusing a Dalit woman Sub Inspector(SI) Anuradha, at Mangalagiri Town police station on Thursday.

Based in the SI's complaint police registered a case under Sections 303, 506,509 R / W 34 of the Indian Penal Code ( IPC).

It may be recollected that the TDP leader along with her followers hurled abuses against SI Anuradha and her team when they were prevented from conducting a protest there, as part of the 'Chalo Atmakur' rally called for by TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu.

Nannapaneni Rajakumari made objectionable comments calling the SI who was on duty as, ''Dalitulu Daridrulu, Mee Valle Ee Paristhithi Pattindi", which meant that,” it was because of the Dalits, the situation was like this”.

The enraged SI took her to task saying that being the ex chairman of the Women's Commission, how she could abuse a lady officer on duty.

On the same day in another incident, SI Kotayya filed a case against TDP MLA Atchennaidu for making objectionable comments on an IPS officer Vikranth Patil near TDP Chief Chandrababu's residence in Tadepalli. A case was also filed in Tekkali Police station in Srikakulam based on a complaint filed by YSRCP activists there.
