Referring to DWCRA loans and repayment of such loans, Vasireddy Padma said that the Commission was trying to find ways to extricate women from the debts they are mired in. The objective was to make women self-reliant, she added. The chairperson of the commission said that the body aimed for development of women in all sectors. Its objective was to bring about a significant transformation in society. To achieve this, the attitude of society towards women needs to change, she said.
