Four Dead In Prakasam Car Accident

Hyderabad: Four persons died when the car they were travelling in hit a milk tanker on Sunday morning in Prakasam district. While two died on spot, two women are shifted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Ongole and are undergoing treatment, a leading daily reported.

The deceased have been identified as V Panduranga Rao (42), S Narasimha Rao (40), V Shyam Satya Sagar (10), DVR Sambireddy (44).

According to police, the family from Vuyyuru mandal in Krishna district was on its way home after visiting Lord Venkateshwara temple in Tirumala on Saturday night. The car lost control at Gollapalli flyover on NH 16, near Maddipadu village in the morning of Sunday.

Police said that the case seems to be an accident as the driver could be sleepy and lost control of the vehicle.

A case has been registered and investigation is on.
