Kargil Vijay Diwas, AP Governer Urges To Plant Saplings In Solidarity

Vijayawada: On the occasion of the Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh Bhiswabhushan Harichandan, has called upon the citizens of the State of Andhra Pradesh to plant five saplings to save the environment of the country, to mark the day.

The Governor had later paid rich tributes to the lost soldiers from the war. He then went on to Plant a few saplings in the premises of Raj Bhavan in Vijayawada along with his wife.

Addressing the gathering and the press, he said that the PM has given a call for people of the nation to plant saplings. He said that by planting five saplings one does not only contribute to the environment, abut also to the health of their future generation. HE concluded by saying there is a strong need for every citizen of the country to safeguard the integrity of the Nation.
