Hyderabad Couple Donates Rs 1 crore To TTD 

Tirumala: A Hyderabad couple donated Rs one crore to Sri Venkateswara Sarva Sreyas Trust (SV Balamandir) of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) trust on Saturday.

The couple, Manthena Srinivas Raju and Sarada handed over the DD to the chairman of TTD trust board YV Subba Reddy at Ranganayakula Mandapam at Srivari temple in Tirumala. Tirumala Special Officer AV Dharma Reddy was also present.

The TTD had set up SV Balamandir separately in 1943. The purpose was to give home to destitute and orphans.

In another donation, Y Venkata Sathish Reddy from Giddalur, Prakasam district donated Rs 10 lakh to TTD SV Anna Prasadam Trust yesterday.

A sum of Rs 507 crore was deposited in the TTD corpus fund for the financial year 2018-19. TTD is an independent trust which manages the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, one of the world's richest Hindu temple.
