1. YS Jagan Announces 7 Lakh Relief To Families Of AP Farmers Who Committed Suicide

In a sensational decision, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced relief to families of farmers who committed suicide due to crop loss or lack of government support. The farmer's leader has instructed the officials concerned to provide immediate relief to the farmer families. According to reports, Rs 7.5 lakhs would be paid as relief to families of farmers who committed suicide in the last five years.

2. Rise In Children Admission To Government Schools, Thanks To Amma Vodi Scheme

The Amma Vodi scheme, seen as a revolutionary step towards education has been a hit already in Chittoor district of the state as several parents can be seen lining up for admissions in government schools. The Amma Vodi scheme promises Rs 15,000 financial aid to the families for sending their students to government school.

In a horrific incident, a minor girl got pregnant after her cousin allegedly raped her. The incident happened in Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. According to police, the accused Mohan Kumar used to lure the 13-year-old girl with chocolates, snacks and other things. He gradually started getting physical with her.
