1. Cocaine Drug Peddler Couple Arrested In Hyderabad

Excise cops on Monday arrested a couple for supplying drugs in the city and seized 106 grams of cocaine along with Rs 70,000 cash. The couple mainly supplied it to techies based in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

2. Crane Accident At Tolichowki Flyover Bridge Kills One, Stalls Traffic

A huge crane used in the construction work of the Tolichowki flyover bridge accidentally collapsed due to over load. The mishap occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning as the crane was trying to lift the construction material used for building the flyover. It is reported that the crane operator was killed even as he tried to escape when the crane was collapsing. Another worker was injured in the accident and immediately rushed to the hospital.

3. Hyderabad: Father Attempts To Molest Daughter, Held

The Hyderabad police on Monday registered a First Information Report(FIR) over the alleged rape threats issued by a father to his daughter. The case was registered as per the complaint filed by Rajput Anshu Kumar(16) a class 10 student who was residing in Chilaka Nagar at Uppal in Hyderabad.

4. Sarsala-type Incident In Bhadradri: Mob Attacks Forest Officials

A Sarsala-type incident took place in Bhadradri in Gundalapadu panchayat of Mulakalapalli mandal when forest staff were attacked by locals who were carrying out farming there. The forest department officials tried to stop them from cultivating crops in forest land. Two officials were injured and have been shifted to the hospital.

5. Telangana CM’s Secretariat Move A Tughlaq Act: Congress

The opposition Congress in Telangana on Monday termed Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao's move to construct a new state Secretariat by demolishing the existing buildings as a "Tughlaq act". A Congress delegation visited the state Secretariat, housing the seat of governance, and felt that there was no need for demolishing the existing buildings as they were in good and stable condition and equipped with all facilities.
