A 65-year-old man was killed after a fire broke out in a Kammanavolu village of Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district. The incident took place late night on Wednesday. At least nine shanties were also gutted in the fire.

3. AP MLAs Duped By B.tech Dropout Through Prank Calls

A four-member gang led by a B.Tech dropout has been arrested here for allegedly duping an MLA and a former legislator in Andhra Pradesh of a total of Rs 25 lakh by making spoof calls using internet, police said Wednesday.The MLAS Lost their money after they received the spoof calls, Commissioner of Police Mahesh Chandra Laddha told reporters here.

The victim, B Dipika, the daughter of Rajendra Naidu (Late) and Usharani, hailed from Damalacheruvu Panchayat Moravapalle in Pakala Mandal of Chittoor District.
