AP DSC 2018: Teacher Recruitment Process From June 20
Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government will start the recruitment process for the District Selection Commission (DSC)-2018 exams conducted last year.
The Commissionerate of School Education has released a temporary schedule stating that from June 20 those eligible for the Teacher's post would be selected.
The recruitment process would continue until September 4 as per the schedule. Barring five categories- Telugu Pandits, Hindi Pandits, School Assistants ( Telugu), School Assistants ( Hindi), PET Posts, the government is said to start recruitment for other posts. There are more than 7,902 posts vacant as per the DSC -2018 notification released earlier. However, there were many irregularities about the eligibility criteria and the way the exam was conducted. Many cases were filed and pending in the High Court about the whole process, particularly in reference to the above five categories.
The government has decided to fill up the rest of the posts, which will be conducted online for the first time. The candidates can complete the process of scanning their documents and uploading them directly on the site. These documents will be verified in three phases and the government has made simplified the process to fill the vacancies and ensure that the meritorious candidates are selected.
The Commissionerate of School Education has also made the entire recruitment and appointment process online. The selected candidates list would be released online and they can select their school option online. An option has been provided in the interface for the selected candidate to choose their school. The posting orders will also be released online.
Based on this, member secretaries from the selection committee from each district will issue appointment letters for the candidates to join the schools.
